11 months

Cole is 11 months today - I can't believe it! Before I know it we'll be celebrating his first birthday!!

His newest trick is that he is now pulling up - on anything and everything. He so wants to join his sisters in the fun they're having, and he's often standing near them trying to figure out what's going on. He's such a blessing!

I've heard of this happening before, but none of my kids has actually fallen asleep while eating... until now.

Apple picking

I got to join Laine on her field trip yesterday to go apple picking. All the kids and teachers got to ride on the school bus, which was probably the highlight of the trip for most of the kids!

It was a hot day, but Laine had a good time picking apples, which I used to make an apple crisp last night. Yum!

And everyone had fun playing on the farm playground afterward too.

Final days of summer

The weather has turned cooler this week - in the mid 70's. It is so pleasant! We've enjoyed the sunny days of summer, but it's always nice to have a little break from the heat. Here's some final pictures of fun at the pool.

Going to the pool this summer helped keep us sane! The kids had a great time, and they each became a little more comfortable in the water.

Mead and Cole loved splashing in the fountains.

And Laine enjoyed swimming as much as possible - she's almost completely independent!
